OUR PROGRAMMES

Academic Support

Children may need additional support outside of school hours to better understand and master the content and skills of what they are taught in school. It can be discouraging when a child finds it difficult to catch up with school lessons. =DREAMS will work with community partners to provide support in homework, instruction and error correction so that our children are better equipped with academic skills to become more efficient learners. =DREAMS hopes to meet the children where they are at in terms of their academic needs and help them to reach their fullest potential.

Differentiated Programmes

=DREAMS will complement schools by providing programmes to expose our children further in areas of interest and other areas outside of school. These programmes may vary year-on-year depending on the strengths and offerings of our community partners. Such programmes can include coding classes, eco-citizenship cultivation lessons, leadership and critical-thinking focused training. The programmes may run during the school term or school holidays.

Nutrition, Health and Wellness

Sleep, regular exercise and nutrition are important for a child’s development. Maintaining healthy eating habits can strengthen the immune system and reduce the risk of health conditions. Combining a healthy diet with adequate exercise and sleep for rest and recovery offers further benefits to physical and mental health. =DREAMS will work with community partners to provide access and guidance for our children to stay healthy and take care of their minds and bodies.
